Functional:
- Lead and guide the operation team (Production/Tooling/Facility), ensuring effective department planning, task assignments, and resource management in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
- Develop career growth plans for direct reports while improving their problem-solving skills and knowledge to support team success.
- Inspire and motivate the team to achieve business objectives and targets.
- Enhance internal capacity by optimizing existing processes and procedures for greater efficiency.
- Collaborate with the General Manager and management team, providing input and recommendations to improve strategic plans, policies, procedures, systems, and budgets.
- Oversee the annual process of defining Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and performance evaluations for team members.
- Prepare and manage the department's annual budget.
- Ensure workplace cleanliness and organization through the enforcement of 5S practices and regular audits.
Disciplinary:
- Manage teams across Production, Tooling, Facility, Apprenticeship, EHS (Environmental Health & Safety), and building extensions.
- Supervise 4 to 5 Heads of Departments (HODs) and Managers.
- Lead, coach, and develop the team, setting clear targets and defining capacity and capability through training and development plans.
